Our Green Group look after some of the raised beds, troughs and planters dotted around the village and at the train station. We generally meet on the third Wednesday afternoon of each month between March and November for some weeding and pruning but also have ad-hoc sessions at other times depending on requirements.

No experience is necessary and anyone is welcome to come along and help make our village an attractive place to live and visit. No regular commitment is expected and our team would be grateful if you were to spare an hour or so when you can as it can really help us to make a difference for the wider community.

If you are a keen gardener and you have some equipment, then we encourage you to bring along a kneeling pad, hand fork and trowel, secateurs and gardening gloves. If you don’t, then we are happy to lend you some items (except for gardening gloves). We also provide bags for the waste and any other items we might need to complete the task at hand.​
