HYPE! is a new HCO project focused on bringing educational and recreational projects and opportunities to young people in Hassocks.

We started off in August 2025 with a round of three Holiday Drama Workshops that provided a wonderful opportunity for eager 9 to 14 year olds to create and perform a fun short showing for their families at Hassocks United Reform Church.

Commenting on the success of the activity, the Lead Tutor, Tim Rowland of Drama Collective said:

“By learning and practising some of the fundamentals of acting, the group were able to flex their imaginations whilst developing pride in their own capabilities and nourishing self-esteem, teamwork and communication skills. This was an incrediblly rewarding experience for everyone!”
