Hassocks Youth Projects is a voluntary community group aiming to offer bespoke events to the youth of Hassocks community.

"Getting to Know your Bike"
What the session will cover
The ABC of basic bike maintenance
Air – Checking tyres, removing wheel, removing tyre, refitting tyre. Puncture repair.
Brakes –Different types of brakes, testing brakes, making adjustments and repairs.
Chain – Checking tension and wear, ensure chain runs smoothly. Setting up and adjusting gears.
If time allows
What to take for a quick repair - emergency roadside repair kit, spare tubes, pumps, chain joiners and mini tools.
Riding position.
